Its Official . He finally announced his bid for presidency at a time where two former hopefuls are about to drop out but where they lack in national support he excels in specification.
You see , hes not running for President of the US of A , no no , THAT would be a daunting task , instead hes going to dictate over one state one at a time , thats right , Colbert is going to run for President of each state until (presumably) hes president of them all , at which time he will face off against the current President in a no-holds barred Ultimate Fighting Championship bout to proclaim once and for all who truly is ....

If you haven't heard of Mew yet i suggest you listen , the danish group mixing sonic rhythms with harmonic and hauntingly echoing chorus's both full studio albums (that have seen major release) are nothing short of completely amazing.

Moriah the Conquering Wind

Here's the rough cut of the basic track layout to MtCW, the track blends industrial synthesizer's with hard drum loops , the lyrics will be posted soon , go have a listen and leave some feedback as this is one of the more "traditional" tracks to be featured on the album.

The Vast Expanse

A documentary about the effects and uses of LSD (Lysergsäure-diethylamid) , its founder Albert Hoffman and so on.
I might run a segment on drugs or at least psychedelics , to quote the late Bill Hicks,

With it being two days away from the birth date of one of the most notorious men to ever have lived coming up ( yes, its that time of year again) , we , the libertine commemorate this occasion by having a two day lead up celebration briefly dancing around his greatest achievements and biggest downfalls and all the sex ,drugs and debauchery in between.

First a overview for those unaware of the man himself.

Second the full e-book of The Equinox , something of a "users manual" for members of the Crowley created OTO (The Order of Oriental Templars) .

Third , The Book of Law , a set of "laws" dictated to him by AIWASS through his wife Rose , Aliester first formed contact to AIWASS by trying to invoke Horus -God of Knowledge .
Finally, on April 7th, Rose gave Crowley his instructions—for three days he is to enter the “temple” and write down what he heard between noon and 1:00 p.m. the result is The Book of Law.

Its out ,its in my car and its awesome.
Its very Hail to the Theif meets OK Computer with enough Kid A to make you love it but im not done with the album yet, it was 6:30 am and i was driving to school (trying not to die with all this rain) in full excitement that i was hearing the new Radiohead.
Yeah the albums good , ill give a run down on it later after i fully digested it all , for now i leave you with my personal favorite line of the album thus far ...

The Glitter of the Sleepers

For fans of Tool he is danny carey , drummer extroadinaire , for fans of the occult he is somewhat of a guru , to me , he is both.
If you've ever been to dannys site you'll know his obsession with and Rennes-le-Chateau isnt a closely guarded secret , the drummer man guru spiritualist has devoted an entire section of his site to the cause of solving this daunting mystery , if your unfamiliar with the backstory on this one , i wont ruin it for you , trot over there and check it out.
If your having trouble accessing the site its because you suck and the god Paimon has deemed that your soul is fit for devouring , good luck with that.

Before Hairspray there was ..

Pink Flamingos , yup , sound enticing?
Well if it doesnt , let me add a little directorial name to it , Roger Waters.
Excited? You should be, but for all the wrong reasons.
This movie is quite possibly the only movie that ive seen (and ive seen a few)
that actually made me question "what the fuck am i watching here?".

To say its odd is an understatement and an injustification to the word odd itself.
This movie is on a whole other level , in fact , its more pornography than film.
The basic premise is enough to draw you in but under false prentenses that the movie is actually going ot have a backbone , it does not.

Instead its an excuse for Waters to berate you with imagery that under normal circumstances you wouldnt go looking for , pretty much , for the sake of "putting it on film" this movie goes out of its way to shock you and not in the good old ways either, to put it simply , the only thing this movie is lacking is a mexican donkey show because it already has the chicken sex scene.

Yeah thats right chicken sex scene , incest , and uhm how can i put this , hardcore gay-ness.
(watch the birthday scene , tell me im wrong.)

Anyhow i sat through it , didnt egret it , but some scenes definately scarred me for life , especially since it has this documentary feel to it , whatever if i did it you should too , just do it , do it.

Pornography does not scare you. What scares you is that i know your secrets , i know your power.

Off hand , i loved this movie , there i said it.
I LOVE it.
Its not your typical movie , no , not by any means , but what it is , is something you dont see too often , if at all.

Its based upon the novel by Marque de Sade , to which i am a fan , yet the director here , what he attempts and what he delivers is something only marque could have invisioned , supposedly assasinated shortly after the films release and banned almost instantly , this films unflinching look at the evil's of tyranny and facism are unrelenting.

Not for the weak at heart , not for the sentimental , not for really anyone , unless your interested in the depravity of humanity.

This film is more than a car wreck on the interstate , its a pileup of school buses.

Sure to shock and disgust even the most jaded , its is definately a film any so-called film buff should witness.

Usually youd have to pay in excess of hundreds of dollars for one of the remaining copies of it floating around on E-Bay , but thanks to a friend , it will be posted here , uncut and in its native language (italian) , the movie your preacher warned you about.

Remembered Fables

One of my favorite artists Aaron Jasinski , an acrylllic kinda guy who paints with pure imagination , can turn the mundane into stunning revelations and deep introspections about life.

In the coming days you'll notice a lot of his work popping up on the site , just in case you aren't familiar with him , check out his website which is nothing short of beautiful.
Also , i've recently discovered that he is a musician , an a damn fine one at that too , give Fly Diaries a listen , its a blend of post-modern ambient that i dare say is almost on the Radiohead kid A level.

Midnight Speeches

To all concerned , i recently came across a newly imagined viewpoint of the author of the Necronomicon , Abdul Alhazred.
For those interested most of the original you can find it here.
There is a new[er] one floating around called the 'Wanderings of Abdul Alhazred' it is written by a supposed expert on the topics of magick , all and all from what ive read its amazing.

So don't be afraid to check out either one , trust me , you wont be possesed by reading an e-book over the internet , not happening , despite whether or not you believe the spells in the book possess any real power or not.

I attended last year around this time and all i can say is that its worth a lot more than the humble entrance fee asked.

The Lucifer Rebellion is a music project of mine , constantly evolving and always shapeshifting , what it is today it surely wont be tommorow.
Ive been working on some material , new and old and figured that if i kept waiting to perfect what i had at hand it would never see the light of day.
And so in the future ill be releasing short snippets and clips of music in progress , works of the mind for the soul.

Its only been a year since the release of The Mars Volta's Amputechture and now we've got semi-concrete word that there new album "the Bedlam in Goliath" is set for a January release with the single popping its head up around early November.
Words cant describe how excited we are for this one , as Jeff Jordan has signed on to provide atleast 6 original pieces of art for the album.
The enw album is a cocnept one much like earlier Volta works , with this revolving around the history of a gift omar gave to cedric , the tracklist has supposedly leaked and if its as groundbreaking as all those who have listened to the rough cuts claim it to be , it will truely be the album to behold this year.
